How attractive is the person that exudes inner confidence. They tend to move with grace, comfortable in their own skin, glowing with an aura of humble self-acceptance. We sense their calming presence and we want to be more like them. We envy their well-being and wonder if it came to them by way of prescription or mantra. Whatever it is, we want it!

So here’s the secret. Confident people make a habit of a few key behaviors. They align their actions to their values which keeps them in integrity. They know their natural strengths and reinforce them with some form of education. And most importantly, they understand the importance of being a good friend to themselves and take the time to acknowledge their strengths and efforts, sooth their discomforts and offer compassion for their mistakes. Hard to not be confident when you have that kind of self-support!

A great way to start is to keep a journal of all the things you accomplished during the week and how your efforts helped others. You will be amazed how this little practice will boost your confidence and your immune system.
