Should You Stay or Should You Go?

In Inspirational, Managing Transitions, Professional Development, Self-Development

Life has a way of challenging our character. It presents us with opportunities to strengthen aspects of ourselves that will lead to greater fulfillment. Yet, the best path for our advancement can at times be a mystery. Do we stay or do we go when dealing with an unappreciative boss, a dysfunctional team, or a job that takes us too far away from our family?

If there is still room to grow in your current situation you might want to stay in and mine for the treasures. Best not to leave too early if there is something important to gain like patience, empathy, or assertiveness. However, if what you are dealing with is becoming intolerable a change is likely needed and perhaps overdue. Each choice will have consequences, but only one will lead to the better version of you.

Thank you for your inspiration. Your gentle words of kindness and encouragement are like a mirror, reflecting back that which I recognize in my life the areas where I can sow the seeds of change, to grow daily, stretch, fall, get back up again, learn, always advancing towards an improved version of me.
